Rhea Barakat earned her master’s degree in architecture from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), University of Balamand, in 2009. Her passion for thoughtful design later led her to Paris, where she obtained a certificate in interior lighting design from the Association Française de l’Éclairage in 2015.
Between 2009 and 2014, she was a senior architect and project manager at Dagher, Hanna & Partners. During this formative period, she contributed to a rich array of projects that spanned various sectors — from the athletic center at the University of Balamand, to the cultural landmark of the Mim Museum, as well as residential developments and hospitality venues such as Restos Saint Nicolas.
Since 2015, Rhea has been pursuing her professional path independently in Lebanon, where she continues to explore and create within the realms of architecture, interior design, and bespoke furniture — blending functionality with beauty in every space she shapes.
